About this film
A factory robot’s identity is built around the job it performs every day. When a newer model arrives and gradually takes over its work, technological progress becomes a quiet process of erasure, and the machine created to automate labor experiences obsolescence from the inside.
Synopsis
A factory robot performs the same function every day until a newer model arrives. Replacement unfolds gradually, first as increased efficiency and then as the loss of space, usefulness, and identity, forcing the older machine to face the same insecurity that automation usually imposes on human workers.
